Fishing permits can be purchased from baliff on the bank

  • Fishing is only allowed during park hours
  • Season starts on May 1st and ends March 31st
  • Pike season will be from October 31st and ends March 31st
  • No Litter, take it home
  • No wading shall be permitted
  • Do not leave rods unattended whilst lines are in the water
  • No fly fishing
  • No spinning or using lures
  • All fish must be returned to the water alive
  • No live baiting
  • Unhooking mats must be used for Carp and Pike
  • Landing nets must always be used
  • Use the appropriate tackle for the species intended to be caught
  • No person shall damage, injure, annoy or interfere with plants, trees or any other property
  • The sacking or retaining of Carp in landing or keep nets is strictly prohibited
  • The R.C.T Borough Council reserves the right to manage or regulate the lake in any manner, which it may consider suitable
  • Permits entitles the holder to fish with no more than 2 rods cast out at any given time
  • The consumption of alcohol or the use of drugs are strictly prohibited whilst fishing at Darren Park Lake
  • All anglers must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence
  • All permits must be shown on request of club officials and other permit holders
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult that is over 21 years of age
