  • No night fishing
  • No anglers under 16 years allowed without adult
  • No dogs allowed
  • No fishing without purchasing ticket
  • Removal of fish is illegal
  • No keep nets
  • Barbless hooks only
  • Minimum line of 8lbs, no fixed leads (semi-fixed allowed)
  • No rubber/plastic/artificial bait allowed
  • No saving of any swim allowed, one swim only per angler

  • Maximum of 3 rods per angler allowed on bank (marker float allowed as extra)

  • Nut baits are banned. No pure seed beds (eg hemp/birdseed/pigeon seed conditioner)

  • All fish to be handled carefully and promptly returned to the water, no sacking allowed unless authorised by bailiff.  All fish must be moved in sling or net - Never by hand - to avoid accident.

  • Unhooking mats and antiseptic eg klinik or bongela must be used at all times.

  • Dip tank instructions must be observed (for slings, nets and mats if last fished elsewhere)

  • Reasonable net size for main lake 36" Minimum

  • Entry to bank for day ticket 05.00hrs, start fishing 05.30hrs - entry to bank for evening ticket 16.30hrs, start fishing 17.00hrs

  • No access to the waters / swims / paths between the hours of 23.00hrs and 05.00hrs

  • Beach caster and pole fishing banned

  • Over night stay in either camping area or in vehicle, on site charge of £2 per person per night payable with fishing ticket - please notify bailiff you are staying

  • The management reserves the right to cancel and or refuse Admission
