Carp Lake Rules

  • No dogs allowed
  • 2 rods maximum
  • Barbless hooks only
  • No carp to be sacked
  • Unhooking mat essential
  • 36inch landing net minimum
  • 10lb minimum line
  • No fires (small bbq's ok)
  • No litter please
  • No nuts or peas
  • No luncheon meat to be used
  • No braided mainline
  • No leadcore to be used
  • Bait boats are allowed
  • Do not stand up holding a carp in your hands or arms

  • Please return carp to water as soon as possible (keep fish wet)

  • Please return vehicles to the car park - disabled badge holders can keep their car at the swim only

  • Net dip provided - it is compulsory that nets & mats are dipped before commencement of fishing and before you leave the premises.

Match Lake Rules

  • No night fishing
  • Minimum 3lb line
  • Carp & silvers keep nets allowed
  • Silvers maximum weight 50lb in nets
  • Strictly dry nets to be used
  • No nuts or peas
  • No surface floating baits to be used
  • No luncheon meat to be used
  • No dogs allowed

  • Please place nets out on bank whilst setting up to dry & put in water 10mins before commencement of match or pleasure session

  • Dip tank is provided - it is compulsory that all nets,inc landing nets & stink bags are dipped before pleasure or matches start  and before you leave the premises

  • In match/pleasure sessions - 70lb maximum weight (carp) at any one time in keep nets, over 70lb all nets disqualified

  • Due to the hot weather please use more keepnets with less weight in each (in matches only)

  • Temporary suspension of keepnets for all pleasure anglers whilst hot weather continues or until further notice

  • Please read notice board for pegs available either for the paddock or the top lake

  • Hot food is available from the on site cafe, full English breakfasts served from 7am all week

  • Evening food available from 6pm - 9pm  Friday/Saturday Nights - Orders can be taken in Cafe

  • For evening matches held - Hot Food can be available Tuesday - Sundays - Orders to be arranged

  • A selection of shelf life boilies, freezer baits, pellets, ground bait etc can be purchased on site

  • Open Matches are held every Tuesday on the match lake
